“Pascal, i will never back down” – Hellen Ati speaks on Cubana Chief Priest paternity dispute

The ongoing paternity dispute involving Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, and Kenyan woman Hellen Ati has escalated once again after Ati rejected his proposal for a live television DNA test.

The disagreement resurfaced on social media after Hellen Ati renewed her call for a DNA test, insisting that Okechukwu is the father of the child she claims is his, while also alleging that the child is currently unwell and in need of attention.

Her latest appeal reignited public debate online, with users divided between calls for a formal DNA test and criticism of the prolonged public exchange.

In response to growing commentary, Cubana Chief Priest dismissed suggestions that he was avoiding responsibility, arguing that individuals making claims about him should present evidence directly rather than engage in social media commentary.

“If you have a child for me too, bring it to any of my outlets or my residence,” he said, adding that he preferred direct verification over public discussion.

He further reacted to online criticism by proposing that a DNA test could be conducted publicly on live television, a suggestion that quickly drew further attention across social media platforms.

However, Hellen Ati firmly rejected the idea, insisting that the businessman had previously made similar commitments which were not fulfilled.

“Pascal, you are saying that I should go and do DNA on a live TV station yet this is what you said in Ebuka live last year that you will do the DNA yet you run away,” she said.

She added that she would not relent until a formal DNA test is conducted, stressing her determination to pursue resolution despite public scrutiny.

“Pascal, we will die here together. I will never back down until the DNA is conducted,” she said.

The dispute has continued to generate widespread reactions online, with many social media users calling for an independent and medically verified DNA test to resolve the matter and bring closure to the controversy.

Some commentators have also raised concerns about the impact of the ongoing public exchange on the child at the centre of the allegations, urging both parties to handle the matter with discretion.

Pascal Okechukwu has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained that any legitimate claim should be proven through formal processes rather than online exchanges.

As the back-and-forth continues, the situation remains unresolved, with no official confirmation of a mutually agreed DNA test arrangement as of the time of reporting.
