Dunamis church has collapsed on Tuesday morning in Benue, killing at least one pastor.
The church is located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the State capital.
According to a source, saying that four individuals, including the pastor, were engaged in prayers within the church building prior to the occurrence of the incident.
The other three individuals managed to escape the wreckage while the pastor was taken by death.
Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, confirmed the incident.
“Only one person has been confirmed dead for now”, she said.
