Pernod Ricard Nigeria has restated its commitment to gender equity and inclusion through its Women’s Network initiative.

The company, part of Pernod Ricard Group, hosted an intimate forum themed “Women Who Raise the Bar.”
The event spotlighted women as cultural and business leaders shaping creativity, leadership, and community development.
Managing Director Michael Ehindero said the programme aligns with International Women’s Day values.
He said the initiative promotes inclusion as a driver of long-term organisational growth.
He added that empowered women strengthen businesses and communities through leadership and creativity.
The panel session featured leaders across business, entrepreneurship, finance, and the creative industry.
Speakers included Susan Anisa Younis, Ibukun Abidoye, Abuchi Peter Ugwu, and Tola Akerele.
They discussed mentorship, leadership, and women’s role in shaping African narratives.
Human Resources Director Joshua Ademuwagun delivered the keynote address.
He urged organisations to create environments where women can thrive and lead effectively.
Corporate Affairs Manager Nnenna Duru described the programme as deeply personal and empowering.
She said the forum encouraged women to own their achievements and support others.
The company reaffirmed that “Women Who Raise the Bar” remains an ongoing commitment, not a one-time event.
It also positioned the initiative as part of its broader people-first and inclusion strategy.
