Arsenal begin their title defence against Coventry as all 380 matches are now available

The Premier League has released the full 2026/27 season schedule, with all 380 fixtures set to begin on Friday, August 21, 2026.

In a statement on Friday, the league confirmed that the new campaign will open with defending champions Arsenal hosting newly promoted Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.

Standard kick-off times remain largely unchanged, with most weekend matches at 15:00 UK time and midweek fixtures at 20:00.

“All fixtures remain subject to change,” the Premier League noted on its website.

The season will get underway shortly after the traditional Community Shield on Sunday, August 16, when Arsenal face Manchester City at Wembley.

Matchweek One continues across the weekend, culminating on Monday, August 24, when Fulham host Chelsea at Craven Cottage.

Clubs competing in European competitions are expected to face a congested calendar, with nine Premier League sides involved across the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.

General scheduling could also be affected by progress in the FA Cup, particularly in the later rounds when semi-finals and the final fall on Premier League weekends.
