President Bola Tinubu has left Abuja for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, according to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

This break is part of the President’s annual leave. Onanuga’s statement, titled “President Tinubu goes on annual leave,” explained that Tinubu would use the vacation as a working retreat to reflect on his administration’s ongoing economic reforms.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria after his leave expires. This trip follows Tinubu’s recent visit to London, where he met with King Charles III.
Since assuming office 16 months ago, Tinubu has travelled to 27 foreign destinations, including his fourth visit to the UK. His trips have included visits to countries such as the United States, India, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and the UAE.
This two-week leave marks a moment for President Tinubu to rest and plan ahead, continuing his efforts to steer Nigeria through significant economic reforms.
