Primate Ayodele has shared Ramadan gifts with the Muslim community in Lagos, reinforcing his message of love and religious coexistence

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n his continued demonstration of religious tolerance, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has distributed essential food items to the Muslim community as they prepare to conclude the Ramadan fasting period.

The distribution took place on Friday, 28th March 2025, at his Lagos headquarters church, where Muslims also worship.

Hundreds of beneficiaries from his congregation and the Oke-Afa, Isolo community in Lagos received bags of rice, chickens, bottles of vegetable oil, and other food supplies as a gesture of goodwill.

Primate Ayodele has a longstanding history of supporting the Muslim community despite being a Christian leader.

Over the years, he has sponsored Muslim pilgrims to Mecca, provided academic scholarships to Muslim youths, and empowered widows within the Islamic faith.

Earlier this year, he attended a pre-Ramadan lecture upon invitation, where he delivered a message centered on love.

He emphasized that love is the foundation of all faiths and the key to peaceful coexistence.

“The only thing God wants is love. I am not against any religion because that’s not what I came into life for. I am only seeking God and doing things for God,” he stated during the event.

Encouraging the Muslim faithful present, Primate Ayodele explained that true love shields individuals from harm and draws them closer to God.

He warned that the absence of love leads to sin, which in turn distances people from divine blessings.

“If you have love, no one can successfully do anything against you. Sin is what makes love far from us, and Allah is love. If I didn’t love, I wouldn’t be here,” he affirmed.

In his commitment to fostering religious harmony, Primate Ayodele previously announced plans to build a mosque, reinforcing his belief that different religions can coexist peacefully through love and understanding.

His latest act of generosity further cements his reputation as a religious leader who transcends faith boundaries, promoting unity and compassion across all beliefs.
