PSG request postponement of their Ligue 1 match vs Lens due to Champions League clashes with Liverpool, awaiting final decision from league authorities
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have requested the postponement of their Ligue 1 fixture against RC Lens due to scheduling concerns linked to their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.
The PSG Lens fixture postponement request comes as the French champions face a congested calendar, with the league match scheduled just days after their first-leg clash with Liverpool.

PSG are expected to host Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final first leg before travelling to Anfield for the return fixture shortly after.
The club argues that the tight schedule could impact player fitness and performance, especially given the intensity of European knockout football.
However, RC Lens have strongly opposed the request, insisting that altering the fixture would undermine the integrity of the domestic league.
Lens, who are challenging for the Ligue 1 title, stressed that domestic competition should not be treated as secondary to European commitments.
The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) is now expected to make a final decision on whether the fixture will be rescheduled.
PSG have previously benefited from similar fixture adjustments in European seasons, including earlier rounds of continental competition.
