Ray Emodi announces quitting Nollywood to fully pursue his music career despite family concerns
Ray Emodi has officially quit acting in films to dedicate himself entirely to his music career. Speaking on Instagram, Emodi explained that some film roles involved unsafe conditions, including sets near areas with gunshots.

He added that his family does not fully support the decision due to high expectations and concerns about their reputation, but he remains committed to making music for his fans.

Emodi clarified that props used in music-related scenes are not real and assured fans that he isn’t abandoning them, only shifting his focus from acting to music.
