Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rivers United has unveiled Finidi George as the coach of the team going into the 2024/2025 season.
The Pride of Rivers relieved Stanley Eguma as the technical adviser of the team during last season and coach Evans Ogenyi was appointed on an interim basis.

Finidi left Enyimba International last season to handle the Super Eagles but decided to resign after 2 games from the 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Rivers state-based club signed the coach on a 2-year deal on Wednesday afternoon and he was unveiled immediately to take charge of the team.
His main priority in the coming season is to return Rivers United to their glory days and secure a continental ticket.
