The former governor of Ogun State and Ogun East senator-elect, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, and his wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel, dished out couples goal when the two lovebirds were captured vacationing in France.
In a post shared on his official twitter handle, Ogidi Omo, as the governor is fondly called, said it was a needed timeout for rejuvenation before resuming the task of moving Nigeria forward.
“After a grueling but exciting electioneering, my dear wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel, and I decided to take a much-needed holiday in one of world’s most beautiful cities, Paris.
“This time out affords me the opportunity to reset and recharge, as we resume the task of moving our dear country Nigeria forward,” he wrote.

Otunba Daniel, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was declared the winner of the Ogun-East Senatorial election held in February 25, 2023.

The former governor scored 115,147 votes to defeat his closest rival, Ajibola Kalejaiye of the PDP, who polled 58,708 votes.
Several Nigerians, especially from Ogun State, are looking forward to his time at the national assembly as his achievements when he was governor are unmatched till date.
