The disturbing clip, which circulated widely on X (formerly Twitter), shows the unidentified gunman speaking in a mix of Igbo, Pidgin, and English.

He accused the victims of using his weapon to commit home invasions and robberies.

Despite repeated pleas for mercy including from one who insisted on his innocence the gunman fired multiple rounds at the youths. His face was not visible in the footage.

In the video, he declared that the killings were meant to serve as a warning to anyone attempting to misuse his firearm.

“This one will be a lesson… anybody who dares take my iron (gun) for robbery in people’s houses or anywhere must receive it hot,” he said before shooting the men one after another.

The graphic footage shows the gunman chaining two of the victims together as he continued firing at them, ignoring their cries.

At the time of filing this report, the exact location of the incident and the identities of the shooter and victims remain unconfirmed.

SaharaReporters, which first reported on the clip, said efforts to contact the user who uploaded the video had not yielded further details.

The video has triggered shock and condemnation online, with calls for security agencies to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrator to justice.
