Speaking through Ayodele Babatunde, Head of Public Affairs at the EFCC’s Ilorin Directorate, Olukoyede cautioned that although internet fraud might seem tempting, it ultimately brings disgrace.
“There is dignity in labour, shortcuts through cybercrime may seem attractive, but they destroy futures and reputations,” he said.
The programme, hosted by Faitheroic Generation, brought together over 400 youths to learn about ethical opportunities in freelancing, network marketing, and digital entrepreneurship, aligned with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We understand the challenges young people face, but cybercrime is not a solution. You have gifts and skills that can thrive legitimately. Channel them into productive ventures, and you will enjoy lasting fulfilment,” Olukoyede added.
