‘Social intervention’ GLOWFUX Concert 2021 edition holds

The social intervention project of Fanafillit Integrated Concepts, GLOWFUX Concert, has again hit a milestone following it’s just concluded 2021 edition which held at the frontage of Dan & Den Lounge, Elegushi Beachfront, Lekki on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Guests were greeted by the cool breeze from the beachside as the event began with the GLOWFUX carpet session anchored and co-anchored by the duo of fast rising Radio jewel Enitan Jewelz and popular wedding compere Folakemi Portable Alaga. After the one-hour-long GLOWFUX carpet session, the main event commenced with rendition of songs of praise led by representatives of each of the needy homes present.

Whilst the GLOWFUX carpet was going on, the children irrespective of where they are from all enjoyed beautiful moment of playing together with the various play items such as Bouncy Castle, Mini Ferris Wheel as supplied by the decoration and games partners of the event, Headway Events.

Children entertaining games were introduced by the compere, MC Daddy Yo. Leaving no one out of the fun, the main beneficiaries of the event (the children from various orphanage homes present) who are the VIP guests, their minders, children guests and other adult guests all participated in the games with winners for each games receiving gifts ranging from consumables to educational materials and many more.

At this year’s GLOWFUX Concerts, everyone had their fill of sumptuous meal prepared by Zizzy’s Kitchen as provided through the support of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu’s BOS Christmas facilitated by Statecraft Inc. While their drink refreshment was provided by SevenUp Bottling Company.

As it has always been, the GLOWFUX Young Ambassadors of the year were introduced and decorated to nurture the heart and act of giving in them. The newly inducted young ambassadors are Ambassador Taiwo Iginla, Ambassador Kehinde Iginla, Ambassador Hillary Adelabu, Ambassador Ibrahim Ibraheem, Ambassador Temitope Williams, and Ambassador Temitayo Williams.

Also witnessed was the GLOWFUX Hall of Charity Awards where individuals and organisation are recognised and awarded for their unrelenting benevolent humanitarian acts to the society. At this year’s edition, a new category of award was introduced, the GLOWFUX Young Ambassador of the year 2021; created to celebrate the most consistent and performing Young Ambassador, and the award went to Ambassador Tofunmi Oladoyin for her unrelenting interest in giving to the society with the help of her family. Since her induction into GLOWFUX Hall of Charity as GLOWFUX Young Ambassador in the year 2018, Amb. Oluwatofunmi Oladoyin has been committed to the gospel of GLOWFUX. Her altruistic self (with the support of her parents) has always been part of the success of the GLOWFUX quarterly outreach which entails quarterly visitation to orphanages with donations of basic needs to the homes.

Prince (Dr.) Chris Abiodun Onus was awarded the GLOWFUX Man of year 2021 while the Mrs. Morola Olabisi Babalola was awarded GLOWFUX Woman of the year 2021, and JAKIN Initiative bagged the GLOWFUX NGO of the year 2021 all for their commitment to humanitarian causes.

There was various fun and excitement at the event as the GLOWFUX official Deejay, DJ MAPS was hands on to ensure there was no dull moment. Also, various entertaining performances were dished out by music and comedy acts such as Vanessa Jones, Princephelar, FKM Comedy, Dom Sax, Harbyb, and many others.
The three orphanage homes present at the event namely Hikanos Orphanage Home, Divine Heritage Orphanage Home, Child Lifeline Home were presented with gifts courtesy of various guest donors, Young Ambassadors, JAKIN Initiative, Hands Lifting Hearts, and a host of others.

This year’s edition of GLOWFUX Concert was made possible with the support of His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kushenala III), Hon.
