Mina, who led the events staffing firm SpecialIb Ushers, was reportedly attacked on 19 March while travelling to inspect an event centre for a scheduled job.

Witness accounts indicate that the assailants opened fire on her vehicle, striking her several times.

The SpecialIb Ushers CEO Mina killed incident has drawn widespread concern, particularly within the local events industry where she was regarded as a rising figure.

Mina was rushed to a nearby hospital following the attack but succumbed to her injuries on 21 March despite efforts to save her.

Her driver and another individual who accompanied her during the trip managed to escape the scene unharmed.

Authorities have since confirmed that an investigation is under way to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.

Police officials have not yet disclosed a possible motive.

The killing has intensified concerns over security in Port Harcourt, especially along busy routes such as Odili Road, where residents have previously reported incidents of violence.

Colleagues and associates described Mina as a dedicated professional whose work in the events sector had begun to gain significant recognition.
