Renowned political analyst and author, Reno Omokri, has urged Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, to refrain from seeking advice from unreliable sources, specifically referring to a “mad man.”

Omokri’s statement came in response to Obi’s recent claim of winning the presidential election by a substantial margin of 8.7 million votes.

In the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi secured the third position, amassing just over 6 million votes.

However, his recent assertion of winning by a significant margin, after he lost again at the election tribunal, has raised eyebrows among political commentators and the general public.

Omokri, known for his astute observations and critique, challenged the credibility of Obi’s inflated vote count. He reminded the public of the former governor of Anambra State’s previous assertion that he received valuable advice from a mentally unstable individual to combat crime in a specific area during his time as a governor.

This particular incident has caused doubt among many regarding Obi’s ability to discern reliable sources of information.

Omokri’s advice to Obi stems from the need for the former presidential candidate to maintain a level of integrity and credibility in his political career.

The renowned analyst cautioned Obi against disseminating misleading information and urged him to seek guidance from reliable and trustworthy sources.

He wrote on his official X handle:

Now, Peter Obi now claims he won the #NigerianElections2023 by 8.7 million votes? Is this not the same man who claimed that the loss-making brewery he brought employs 60% of Anambra people? And that 100 out of 150 NBA in America are of Nigerian origin? And that his investment in SABMIller for Anambra is now worth $100 million (actually, the Obi government’s investment of $12.24 million is now worth only $5.38 million. A severe loss)?

Stop taking advice from madmen at upper Iweka, you will not hear. Now, see your life!
