SUNU health Nigeria wins most customer-focused HMO award 2025, recognised for superior enrollee service, digital innovation, and healthcare access

SUNU Health Nigeria Limited has been named the “Most Customer-Focused Health Insurance Company of the Year” at the Customer Service Standard Magazine Awards 2025, highlighting the company’s dedication to enrollee satisfaction and excellence in service delivery.

The award ceremony took place at the Protea Hotel on December 11, 2025, and recognised SUNU Health’s consistent efforts to streamline claims processing, improve access to quality healthcare providers, and maintain transparent communication with clients across Nigeria.

The judging panel praised the company’s innovative use of technology and investment in staff training, which have contributed to empathetic, efficient service and the highest customer satisfaction scores in a competitive market assessment.

Receiving the award, Managing Director and CEO Dr. Patrick Korie described the accolade as a validation of SUNU Health’s core philosophy.

Dr. Korie added that the award strengthens the company’s commitment to innovation and setting benchmarks for customer experience in the Nigerian health insurance sector.

He reaffirmed that providing accessible, high-quality, and seamless healthcare solutions would remain the company’s top priority as 2026 approaches.

The awards panel included industry leaders such as Dr. Kofi Albert, CEO of Phillip Omnicom Consulting; Mr. Cammil Chineme, former Marketing Manager of Nuchem F & P; Mrs. Gloria Sunday, CEO of BrandClock; and Mr. Gbenga Awolesi, COO of Primal Hotel.
