The double ceremony attracted football enthusiasts, sports administrators, and members of the club from Lagos, highlighting the unifying power of football across Nigeria.

Prince Vincent Okumagba described football as a unique force that transcends tribe, culture, religion, and social class.

While inaugurating the Anambra State Executive of the supporters club, he said, “Football speaks the language of love, competition, and peaceful coexistence. As supporters, our role is to provide moral support and cheer the Super Eagles wherever they play—home or abroad, win or lose. We are the 12th man on the field.”

Chief Kingsley Uduh, newly-inaugurated Chairman of the Anambra State chapter, pledged transparent leadership, saying, “This is a new beginning for the Anambra Chapter of the Super Eagles Supporters Club.

Our doors are open to all indigenes of the state. The strength of our club lies in our numbers. I promise to lead with honesty and ensure that whatever is due to our members reaches them fairly.”

Emeka Obidinma, Director at the Anambra State Sports Commission representing Chairman Patrick Oyedum, assured the club of state government support and encouraged the new executive to lead with unity and love, reflecting the true essence of football.

The event also featured speeches from Vice Chairperson Ada Edward and Chief Victor Aniekwena, Vice Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, who doubled as Chairman for the occasion.
