In a thrilling final in Rabat on Friday night, the Super Falcons overturned a 2-0 halftime deficit to defeat host nation Morocco 3-2  a remarkable comeback they proudly dubbed #MissionX.

With pressure mounting and the crowd roaring, Esther Okoronkwo ignited Nigeria’s charge in the 64th minute with a cool finish that made it 2-1.

Just minutes later, Okoronkwo danced past Moroccan defenders to set up Folashade Ijamilusi, who leveled the score at 2-2.
