Taaooma’s JAC Motors brand ambassador partnership marks a new chapter in youth-focused marketing for the Nigerian automotive brand

Better known by her stage name Taaooma, the content creator was unveiled during a ceremony in Lagos, marking a strategic shift in the company’s approach to marketing and brand communication.

Demola Ade-Ojo, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, shared insights into why the brand chose to collaborate with Taaooma.

“This is the first time Elizade JAC is engaging a brand ambassador. Historically, we have relied on our reputation in the automobile industry,” said Ade-Ojo.

“Taaooma’s digital influence, creativity, and connection across various age groups offer us a unique opportunity to humanize the JAC brand and connect with younger Nigerians.”

According to him, the goal is to increase brand awareness, stimulate sales, and position JAC Motors as both reliable and aspirational within Nigeria’s competitive auto market.

Olumide Olaokun, the Senior Brand Manager at Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, described the collaboration as a bold step to build long-term brand affinity among Nigeria’s youth.

“Our goal is simple — to make JAC Motors a household name. Partnering with Taaooma helps us engage a new generation while strengthening our brand positioning,” said Olaokun.

To commemorate the partnership, Elizade JAC Motors presented Taaooma with a JAC JS6 SUV, making her a visible symbol of the brand.

During the event, Maryam Apaokagi-Greene expressed her excitement and appreciation for the partnership, praising the brand’s reliability and style.

“Elizade JAC Motors is absolutely amazing. Their cars are stylish, reliable, and durable. I’m truly excited about this partnership,” she said.

“This is my family now. I want Nigerians to see what JAC Motors brings to the table. My fans trust me, and now they’ll have more reasons to trust JAC too.”

True to her comedic brand, Taaooma jokingly promised to “carry the brand on her head” by incorporating it into her widely watched content.

The partnership marks a key moment for Elizade JAC Motors, as the company blends traditional quality with modern, relatable marketing strategies.

By collaborating with a beloved digital personality, the company aims to build emotional connections with the public and expand its reach across Nigeria’s urban and youth-driven markets.

Elizade JAC Autoland Limited is the exclusive assembler, retailer, and distributor of JAC Motors passenger and commercial vehicles in Nigeria.

The company also provides full after-sales support, including servicing and genuine spare parts.
