Tems, Burna Boy top billboard hot 100 among Africans

Tems and Burna Boy become African artists with most Billboard Hot 100 entries after features on J. Cole’s album ‘The Fall-Off’

Nigerian singers Tems and Burna Boy have surpassed South African group Seether as the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 chart.

Previously tied at seven entries each, the duo added new entries this week through their features on **J. Cole’s album, ‘The Fall-Off’.

‘Bounce Road Blues’ featuring Tems and Future debuted at number 34.
‘Only You’ featuring Burna Boy debuted at number 78.

This brings their total Billboard Hot 100 entries to eight each, setting a new record for African artists.

Tems’ Billboard Achievements

Tems has now achieved three Hot 100 entries in 2026:

1. Raindance with Dave
2. What You Need
3. Bounce Road Blues with J. Cole and Future

She currently holds the record for most entries by any African artist this year.

Burna Boy’s Milestones

Burna Boy becomes the first African artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years**, with entries including:

Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023)
Just Like Me and We Pray(2024)

Only You(2026)
