TG Tomori

Nigerian music video director TG Tomori, also known as ThankGod Omori Jesam, has provided an update on his recent kidney transplant procedure. Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful.

A few hours ago, TG Tomori, popularly known as Boy Director, shared how his only brother donated a kidney to give him a second chance at life.

Despite this selfless act, the transplant did not succeed, as he revealed in his latest tweet on X.

Many Nigerians have flooded the post with messages of hope and concern, expressing their support and wondering what might have gone wrong.

TG Tomori, born on 8 June 1995, hails from Cross-River State in Nigeria.

He grew up in Agungi, Lagos State, from a middle-class background. He started directing at 15, overseeing stage plays in his school and church.

By 16, he began making videos, and at 20, after graduating from PEFTI Film Institute, he became Nigeria’s youngest professional filmmaker.
