In a personal tribute on Monday, President Bola Tinubu commended Vice President Kashim Shettima for his loyalty, courage, and enduring belief in the nation’s potential.

He said Shettima has consistently proven to be the right choice as a running mate.

“You have strengthened our work, brought fresh perspectives, and reassured me that I made the right choice,” Tinubu said.

The president described their relationship as more than political referring to it as “a bridge across regions and traditions” that symbolizes unity and national purpose.

He emphasized that their Renewed Hope Agenda is already producing meaningful results in education, healthcare, job creation, and national development.

Tinubu also lauded Shettima’s previous leadership roles including his tenure as Governor of Borno State and later as Senator, noting that he served the nation “even in the face of immense challenges.”

The tribute reflects a deepening bond between the two leaders as they continue to navigate Nigeria’s complex challenges together.
