The event, which unveiled Toke Makinwa Beauty, drew several industry figures and close associates.

In a video shared online, Toke was seen exchanging pleasantries with Priscilla Ojo when she made the light-hearted remark, introducing Priscilla to guests as the mother of her future son-in-law.

“This is the mother of my son-in-law. They have money,” she said, drawing laughter from attendees.

The comment, though playful, quickly gained attention online, with many reacting to the moment as the Toke Makinwa future son-in-law remark trended across social platforms.

Beyond the viral moment, Toke has recently been in the spotlight over conversations surrounding her daughter.

She had earlier responded to criticism from a social media user who questioned her decision to limit her child’s public exposure.

The media personality dismissed the comment, describing the concern as unnecessary and urging individuals to focus on their own choices.

She also clarified speculation about her child’s background, stating that her daughter’s name, Yakira, is of Hebrew origin and means “beloved” and “precious.” She further refuted claims linking the child’s father to a specific religion.

In recent months, Toke has remained vocal on issues around relationships and societal expectations.

She has consistently addressed criticism about her marital status, maintaining that she values marriage while choosing to live life on her own terms.
