UBA’s Media & External Relations Lead, Abiodun Coker, has clinched the “Future Leader in Media Management” award at The Industry Summit 2025, spotlighting his impactful contributions to corporate communications

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he United Bank for Africa (UBA) is once again in the spotlight as Abiodun Coker, Media & External Relations Lead, clinches the prestigious “Future Leader in Media Management” award at the 6th edition of The Industry Summit and Awards.

The recognition, bestowed by The Industry Newspaper — West Africa’s leading brand marketing publication — honours outstanding communications professionals shaping the future of brand strategy and public relations in the region.

Chaired by TVC News Business Editor, Mr. Tolulope Ogunjobi, the award jury cited Coker’s exemplary work in 2024, highlighting his seamless handling of UBA’s 2024 Rights Issue and the execution of the bank’s milestone 75th Anniversary Campaign.

Coker, whose background includes over eight years as a financial journalist with BusinessDay and senior roles at top PR firms like BD Consult and Quadrant, has rapidly emerged as a strategic force in Nigeria’s corporate communications landscape.

Coker’s recognition further cements his growing reputation as one of Nigeria’s most dynamic and future-ready communication leaders.
