Uche Ogbodo claims men contribute 95% to failed marriages, highlighting neglect, cheating, and emotional abuse as key reasons for divorce
Popular Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sparked conversation after sharing her view on the primary cause of divorce.

According to the actress, the male gender is responsible for 95 per cent of failed marriages. She cited neglect, emotional abuse, betrayal, cheating, and devaluing of spouses as central factors.
On her Instagram page, Uche Ogbodo wrote: “Men contribute 95 per cent in failed marriages.
Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”
She further added that the lack of accountability in both relationships and society at large encourages this troubling trend.
Uche Ogbodo is currently in her second marriage.
She married Boby Maris in October 2023, following her first marriage to Norway-based football agent Ato Ubby, which ended within a year of being contracted in 2013.
