UK PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) chieftain and businessman, Segun Sky Akinyemi, has come forward to clarify a case of mistaken identity that caused concern among friends and well-wishers. Numerous calls flooded in after reports surfaced about an Abuja resident named Segun Akinyemi being a victim of kidnappers.

Taking to his official social media accounts, Segun Sky Akinyemi reassured everyone of his safety and well-being. He explicitly mentioned that he is not the same Segun Akinyemi who was reportedly kidnapped in Abuja. Additionally, he confirmed his current location in the UK, dispelling any confusion regarding his whereabouts.

In the statement, Segun expressed gratitude to those who expressed concern and took the time to check on his safety. He extended his appreciation for the outpouring of support and concern from friends and well-wishers.

The mix-up in identity highlights the importance of accurate information dissemination and verification, especially in situations where individuals share similar names. The incident also underscores the role of social media in rapidly spreading news and the subsequent need for individuals to clarify their status promptly.

Segun Sky Akinyemi concluded his message by invoking blessings upon Nigeria and expressing his gratitude for the genuine concern shown by those who reached out.
