The former Big Brother Naija housemate addressed online remarks mocking her for not being married or having children, following comments suggesting her past selectiveness in relationships had worked against her.

Responding firmly, Uriel Oputa stated that marriage does not define her identity or success, emphasising that rushing into a relationship could jeopardise her peace and personal safety.

“Being married or having a husband does not define me,” she said.

She added that entering a relationship under pressure would likely lead to choosing the wrong partner, something she is determined to avoid.

The reality star stressed that her life decisions are guided by personal growth, achievements, and emotional well-being rather than public opinion.

“I will never rush into anything that compromises my peace,” she said.

In a broader message, she encouraged other women facing similar pressure to prioritise themselves and not feel behind due to marital status.

Uriel Oputa also highlighted her openness to relationships but maintained that protecting her emotional well-being remains paramount.
