The lead female vocalist of popular Veentage band, Ejiro Emokiniovo has passed away.
The band’s boss and late Ejiro’s husband, Desmond Emokiniovo broke the news via his Instagram page on Thursday.
He shared the picture of a candle and captioned it: “Of a truth, there’s no justice in this world…. The worst day of my entire existence..”
Desmond also shared a video of his late wife performing at a function and wrote: “Dear Lord. You always answer any time we call.
Why you chose not to answer yesterday remains a mystery.”
It was alleged she died in Dubai while undergoing appendectomy.
The band has performed at several elite functions in Nigeria and diaspora, including the wife of Nigerian president.
