The Super Eagles striker delivered another dominant performance last weekend, scoring twice in Galatasaray’s decisive 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor to seal the league crown.

Osimhen’s latest display capped another impressive campaign in which the Nigerian forward recorded 15 goals and five assists in just 20 league appearances.

Speaking on Galatasaray’s official YouTube channel, the 27-year-old expressed deep satisfaction with his experience in Istanbul and praised the team’s collective determination throughout the season.

“I’m experiencing one of the best periods of my career. I feel great. This is the best so far,” Osimhen said.

“I’m experiencing one of the most fulfilling periods of my career.”

The Victor Osimhen Galatasaray partnership has flourished since the striker joined the Turkish giants two years ago, with the Nigerian international emerging as one of the club’s most influential players.

Osimhen also hailed the team’s mentality after Galatasaray secured yet another league triumph.

“We deservedly lifted the trophies. I’m enjoying it very much, I’m very happy,” he added.

Despite the celebrations, the striker acknowledged that defending the title next season would become even more demanding as rival clubs attempt to halt Galatasaray’s dominance in Turkish football.

“Next season will be even tougher. All teams want to beat Galatasaray,” Osimhen said.

“We will continue to work much harder. We will fight harder. We will do our best to win next season as well.”

Since arriving at Galatasaray, Osimhen has produced sensational numbers, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances across all competitions while helping the club secure three major trophies.

In the 2024/25 campaign, the Nigerian striker registered 26 goals and four assists in 30 league matches before maintaining his outstanding form this season.
