Speaking during an interview with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, Osimhen said he is currently focused on taking a well-deserved break before making any decision on his future.
The 26-year-old forward was on loan from Napoli last season, during which he scored 37 goals across all competitions.
He finished as the Turkish Super Lig’s top scorer and clinched the Goal of the Season award, earning widespread praise for his attacking prowess.
Despite lucrative offers already on the table, Osimhen has not rushed into any agreement. He previously turned down a high-profile move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
However, European giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus are all monitoring the situation closely. Galatasaray, meanwhile, are reportedly eager to sign him on a permanent deal.
In his words, Osimhen acknowledged the routine pressure of the summer transfer window. “It’s always like this when the season ends and the summer transfer window begins,” he said.
“You have a lot of clubs wanting your services, but right now, I’m focused on my holiday and enjoying myself.”
While relaxing, the Super Eagles star also revealed he has been reflecting on his performance. “I’m reminiscing about the past season I had with Galatasaray watching clips of my goals, the mistakes I made, and the things I did well,” he added.
Osimhen’s next move is likely to shape the attacking plans of whichever club secures him. At the peak of his form, and with his market value rising, the coming weeks are expected to be decisive.
