The popular pastor has always been sensational with his teachings, but this particular session that discusses the relationship between politicians and citizens somehow managed to capture the attention of many Nigerian youths.
During the teaching, Apostle Lazarus made an analogy between a very wealthy man in pursuit of power and a poor man who sees money as a purchasing item.
He explained that as one moves up in life, money is used to buy power. Therefore, a wealthy man, in order to become very powerful, needs to keep the poor in his pocket. To achieve this, the poor men need to be very poor to constantly depend on the rich man’s money.
The pastor then revealed that this is the same formula employed by Nigerian politicians to keep the masses poor and themselves powerful. Watch the video below.
