The reinstatement was announced in Abuja by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant to the minister on public communication and social media, in an official statement.
According to Mr Olayinka, Mr Wike approved the decision while issuing a clear warning against indiscipline among officials of the FCT Administration, stressing the importance of proper conduct and adherence to established directives.

The directive prompted administrative scrutiny within the education secretariat.
Mr Ango was suspended.
At the time of the action, no public explanation was provided regarding the specific offence that led to the suspension.
