YAPI emphasised that its mission is non-political but focused on tangible advancements in governance, economic growth, and sectoral development across Nigeria.

YAPI commended Tinubu’s administration for key reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies on May 29, 2023, which initially sparked concerns but is now yielding long-term economic benefits.

The group also praised the introduction of student loan facilities, the removal of customs duties on imported pharmaceuticals to improve affordability, and ongoing efforts to address rising food prices.

“President Tinubu has laid a strong foundation for national growth. His visionary leadership deserves continuity.” — Prince Olushola Omomulerin John

Additionally, the administration’s success in revitalising the nation’s refineries after over three decades of inactivity was acknowledged as a remarkable achievement.

The Supreme Court ruling on local government autonomy was also described as a significant milestone in Nigeria’s progress.

Operating in ten states, including Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Ekiti, Kwara, and Kogi, YAPI is led by chairman Prince Olushola Omomulerin John, a former Niger Delta agitator, alongside other key officers.

They are Alhaji Taofik Ademola Afolabi, vice chairman; Dr. Aremu Adekunle Patrick, Secretary; Olatunbosun Awonuga, Spokesperson; Comfort Esan, Women Leader and Olwaremilekun Adebayo, Deputy Women Leader.

Others are Dr. Luckyson Ekpo, Financial Secretary; Jamiu Aremu Abdullahi, General Coordinator; Prince Fagbemi Abideen Ayinde, Treasurer and Victor Stephen, Internal Auditor.
