2Baba celebrates son’s graduation after facing criticism online over his absence at Justin Idibia’s London graduation ceremony

Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has publicly congratulated his son, Justin Idibia, on graduating from high school days after facing criticism over his apparent absence from the graduation ceremony in London.

The controversy emerged over the weekend after Justin’s mother, Pero Adeniyi, shared photographs from the graduation and celebrated the milestone on social media.

In an Instagram post, Pero Adeniyi expressed pride in her son’s achievement and optimism about his future.

“My heart is so full today as I celebrate my son, Justin, on his graduation from high school. Congratulations, Justin! We’re beyond proud of you and excited to watch you soar to even greater heights.

The future is yours, and I know God has amazing things in store for you,” she wrote.

The post quickly attracted reactions from social media users, with many questioning why 2Baba was not seen in photographs from the event.

Several commentators suggested that the singer had become less visible in the lives of some of his children following recent developments in his personal life, including his relationship with Natasha Osawaru.

As criticism intensified online, 2Baba broke his silence a few days after the ceremony by sharing photographs from the graduation on his Instagram Story.

The singer accompanied the images with a brief but heartfelt message to his son.

“Congratulations son,” he wrote.

The post appeared to reassure fans that the veteran musician had joined in celebrating Justin’s academic achievement despite the earlier criticism.

The graduation marks an important milestone for Justin Idibia as he prepares for the next stage of his education and future career pursuits.

While reactions to 2Baba’s response remained mixed, many supporters welcomed the public show of support and congratulated Justin on completing his high school education.
