A hair-dresser from Thailand has dominated the headlines after a video of an advertisement surfaced on Facebook on September 12. This clip showed her cutting the customer’s hair and wearing a lingerie. Reportedly, this hairdresser performs her job wearing lingerie only. According to the Daily Star report, this woman works in a salon called Madame Hair Colour located in the Phetchabun province, Thailand.

The hairdresser, however, has received scathing criticism from some of the customers for only using this way as a promotional method. Customers have complained that the lady, in reality, performed her job wearing clothes only. They considered this act cheating on the part of the lady and criticised her for this. There is no official statement from the lady on these allegations. The advertisement, which has gone viral, shows the hairstylist, working with a customer, wearing nothing but bright red lingerie. The caption reads, “Come on, let’s do my hair. I’m ready.”

According to reports, the lady is not at all bothered about the criticism she has received for her outfit which was a marketing gimmick. She reportedly received a lot of strange and odd looks from the customers when they reached the salon. She, however, remains unbothered by the looks and only concentrates on the work.

The reports added that the advertisement was filmed on a day when not a single customer had arrived at the salon. The crew brainstormed a unique idea that could fetch their business more customers in the rainy season. Finally, they stumbled on the idea of portraying one of the hairdressers wearing lingerie in their advertisement.

Social media users were amused after watching the advertisement. One of the users joked that they needed to get their hair done, while a concerned woman suggested, “Wives, do not let your husbands go here!”

In an interview with a portal, this hairstylist claimed that she only dresses like this while performing the task. The hairstylist claimed that she wears normal clothes after completing the work. According to a report published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, some of the male clients don’t like the idea of hair stylists wearing lingerie.
