The Grassroots Democratic Initiatives has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Ondo State, Gov. Lucky Ayedatiwa, on the appointment of members to his newly inaugurated cabinet.

In a communique signed by Comrade Razaq Oladosu, Buska, the executive director of the pro-democracy group, the group reaffirms their trust and confidence in the capabilities of the majority of the newly appointed cabinet members to deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the people of the Sunshine State.

The communique specifically acknowledges Dr. Kayode Ajulo, the Attorney General, as a paragon of principle, integrity, and compassion for humanity. His impressive track record speaks volumes, earning him the respect and trust befitting his esteemed office.

Furthermore, the group applauds Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa for his selection of Comrade Gany Mohammed Ajowa as a Special Adviser.

Comrade Ajowa, a stalwart of the pro-democracy movement, has been a vocal advocate for progressive and people-oriented governance since his days in the student union movement (NANS).

As a founding member of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) and a dedicated cadre of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), as well as a steadfast voice within the labour movement, his unwavering commitment and dedication assure us of his invaluable contribution to the new administration.

Recognised as a bridge builder, Comrade Gany Mohammed Ajowa brings a wealth of experience and a spirit of unity to the government, making him an indispensable asset.

The group reaffirms their unwavering commitment and support for the Government of Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa in fulfilling the promises of the renewed hope agenda of this administration and our esteemed party.
