Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi has taken to social media to caution her fans against idolizing individuals who possess material wealth but lack integrity.

In a recent post on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the “Joromi” singer stressed the importance of valuing character and kindness over financial success.

“Don’t idolize wicked people because they have more money than you,” Simi wrote, urging her followers to prioritize moral values and integrity rather than being swayed by material wealth.

The message from Simi comes as a reminder to her fans to focus on inner qualities and kindness, rather than elevating those who may achieve success through unscrupulous means.
