The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun distributing sensitive electoral materials to Edo State’s 18 local government areas, supervised by State Resident Electoral Commissioner Onuoha Anugbum.
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Thursday morning, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced the distribution of sensitive electoral materials to the 18 local government areas in Edo State.
The distribution is taking place at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) premises located at Akpakpava Junction, Ring Road, Benin.

Hired vehicles are stationed beside the CBN to transport the materials to various locations.
The area has been closed to commercial activities to facilitate the distribution, with buses operating on a one-way system for entry and exit.

The scene has attracted significant media attention, with journalists from print and electronic media present to cover the event.
State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Onuoha Anugbum, is overseeing the process and confirmed the commencement of the distribution to journalists at the CBN. Party officials are also at the venue to observe the distribution.

Despite the early morning drizzle, the distribution team continued their work under a canopy set up for stakeholders, ensuring the process proceeded smoothly.
