During an Instagram live session on Monday, the 62-year-old actress shared her perspective, arguing that there is no equality in marriage and encouraging women to stay with their unfaithful partners.

She advised wives to take precautions against sexually transmitted diseases rather than leaving their husbands.

Adegbola explained that women who leave their marriages may face difficulties in the future, especially when important family events arise.

She recounted a story of a friend who buys condoms for her husband, suggesting that men will still cheat but should protect themselves and their wives.

Toyin Tomato also expressed her disapproval of joint bank accounts, asserting that men should be seen as both husbands and the “first child” of their wives.

Her comments have sparked discussion on gender roles and fidelity in marriage, highlighting the traditional views held by some in Nigerian society.
