Bobrisky leaked call recording

Nigerians react to a leaked call recording involving Bobrisky, allegedly admitting he wasn’t in prison. Mixed responses flood social media.

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]igerians have reacted to a leaked call recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky. The controversial influencer reportedly admitted to not being in prison but in a nearby apartment, as per social media influencer VeryDarkMan.

The recording, claimed to be separate from a previous leak, has generated mixed responses across platforms like X and Instagram, with users debating its authenticity and the motives behind the release.

Nigerians are buzzing on social media after the release of a new leaked call recording allegedly involving popular crossdresser Bobrisky.

The recording, shared by social media influencer VeryDarkMan, has stirred controversy, with Bobrisky purportedly admitting that he was not in prison but living in a well-furnished apartment near the facility.

VeryDarkMan emphasised that this recording, made on May 16, 2024, is not a continuation of a previous leak but a separate conversation.

The leaked call has provoked strong reactions across platforms like X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram. Many Nigerians expressed their shock and scepticism, questioning the authenticity of the recording. Some users believe Bobrisky’s friends are behind the leaks, while others question why private conversations were recorded in the first place.

UGo, tweeting as #Oforma19, expressed disbelief, referencing how Bobrisky reportedly avoided prison despite money laundering allegations.

Other users, like Wills Media, remarked on the betrayal Bobrisky must feel, as trusted friends seem to be the source of the leaks.

On Instagram, the reactions were equally mixed. Some commenters questioned why the recording was made public instead of being taken to court.

Others criticised VeryDarkMan for focusing on Bobrisky’s alleged crimes while ignoring bigger societal issues, such as political corruption.

In September, VeryDarkMan had shared another purported audio, accusing Bobrisky of bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges.

Bobrisky denied the bribery claims, stating that he had served his jail term and the viral recording was fake.

The latest leaked recording continues to fuel debates online, with Nigerians divided on the truth behind the allegations and the authenticity of the conversations.
