St. Matthias Ago-Itunu honours 60 years of faith, community, and spiritual legacy through a week-long Diamond Jubilee celebration
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]t. Matthias Ago-Itunu Church, founded by the Late Most Snr. Rev. Apostolic Mother Sabainah Osinowo , is prepared to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee under the theme “3 Score of His Glory and Mercy.”

The anniversary events, announced by the Anniversary Committee’s chairman, MSA Femi Odulaja, honour the church’s 60-year journey as a place of worship, spiritual guidance, and community support. The four-day event will run from 30 October to 2 November 2024.
Special Apostle Z.A. Ogunleye, the church’s Minister in Charge, and His Eminent Vice Baba Aladura of The Praying Band C & S, L.A.V.O. Osinnowo, have played pivotal roles in shaping St. Matthias’ mission and values. The celebrations reflect their leadership and the congregation’s deep gratitude for God’s blessings.
Day 1 features Isin Owuro, an early morning prayer service, lifting voices in thanksgiving for God’s enduring mercy. Day 2 brings a vibrant All-Night Music Festival, headlined by the renowned St. Matthias Choir, alongside guest gospel choirs and artists. On Day 3, the church will conclude the anniversary with a solemn Holy Communion and Thanksgiving Service, reflecting on divine grace and unity.
A highlight of the Diamond Jubilee includes the choir’s upcoming album release, “Dide Jesu” (The Return of Christ), showcasing the church’s rich musical legacy.
Additionally, St. Matthias is known for nurturing talents across industries, with members excelling globally in fields like media, engineering, and human resources.
