Eloswag leaked Snapchat video

BBNaija’s Eloswag considers suing blog over leaked Snapchat video, joining other celebrities facing privacy breaches on social media.

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]loswag, a former contestant from Big Brother Naija Season 7, has publicly addressed the leak of his intimate video after a private moment was accidentally shared on his Snapchat account.

The clip, showing him with an unidentified woman, appeared around 3 a.m. on Sunday but was swiftly deleted. Unfortunately, the video spread widely after being reposted by a well-known gossip blog.

In a now-deleted post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Eloswag voiced his frustration over the incident and suggested legal action could follow.

“I mistakenly posted a video on my Snapchat by 3 a.m. and deleted it immediately. Guess who has the video? GISTLOVER? How? Please, can I sue? Because it doesn’t make sense,” he wrote, revealing his disappointment over the rapid distribution of the clip.

This incident has placed Eloswag among a growing list of celebrities who have faced the public release of private content.

Nigerian stars Moyo Lawal, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and James Brown have all recently contended with similar invasions of privacy, sparking discussions on the ethics of sharing intimate content without consent and the legal avenues available for celebrities in such cases.

The spread of Eloswag’s video highlights the ongoing issue of privacy breaches on social media, particularly for high-profile figures.

As public pressure mounts for accountability, many are calling for stricter regulations around privacy and data security on social platforms.
