Held on Friday, 13 December, at CIBN House, Victoria Island, Lagos, the event celebrated women’s achievements under the theme, “Tools Women Need to Succeed.”

The conference brought together influential female leaders, including Mrs. Abiodun Olabintan, Group Head of Women Banking at Access Bank; Mabel Adeteye, Head of Brands and Communications at WEMA Bank; and Maureen Omifada, Marketing Director at FrieslandCampina WAMCO.

These remarkable women joined forces to inspire and equip attendees with essential tools for leadership success.

Bisi Sotunde’s award highlights her transformative contributions to the Nigerian event management industry.

Over the past decade, she has built BusyBee Events into a leading brand, celebrated for creativity, professionalism, and strategic execution.

Her company’s portfolio spans corporate events, luxury weddings, and bespoke celebrations, making it a household name in the sector.

In her acceptance speech, Sotunde said: “This award recognises the impact women can make when they lead with passion and purpose. At BusyBee Events, we prioritise empowerment while creating unforgettable experiences. I dedicate this to all women striving to inspire change in their fields.”

The conference’s theme, “Tools Women Need to Succeed,” explored strategies like mentorship, continuous learning, emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and resilience. These principles align with Sotunde’s leadership philosophy, evident in her innovative approach to event management and commitment to mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.
