Lifestyle Initiatives Charity announces plans to feed 30,000 people and expand outreach in Lagos, Oyo, and Ekiti this Christmas

Lifestyle Initiatives Charity, led by founder Dr Precious, has announced a comprehensive end-of-year programme to benefit communities in Lagos, Oyo, and Ekiti.

The initiative will include prison evangelism, hospital outreach, street evangelism, and church planting.

Dr Precious outlined the charity’s goals during a recent interview, saying, “Our focus this year is on these three states, but we plan to extend our work to northern and eastern Nigeria by 2025.

Flour Mills has recognised our efforts and supported us, and we’re eager to welcome more partnerships to expand our impact.”

He acknowledged the challenges faced by the organisation but emphasised their preparedness to overcome obstacles.

“We’ve faced several hurdles, but we’ve developed solid plans to tackle them. We’re also cautious in choosing our supporters to ensure our mission stays on track.”

A significant part of the charity’s mission this Christmas is feeding 30,000 people, with particular attention given to correctional facilities and street evangelism.

Earlier this year, the organisation visited the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for a feeding and evangelism programme. Plans are now underway to visit the Agodi Correctional Centre in Ibadan and assess the needs at Isolo General Hospital.

The charity also conducts regular street feeding every Thursday and supports school and hospital feeding initiatives, making a tangible difference in the lives of underserved communities.

Co-founder Sarah Oyeama explained the charity’s efforts to connect with supporters despite technical difficulties with their website.

“Our website is temporarily inaccessible due to updates, but we are active on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Status to share updates and engage with supporters,” she said.

Lifestyle Initiatives Charity also focuses on equipping individuals in correctional facilities with valuable skills to aid their reintegration into society.

“We believe in not just feeding people but also empowering them for a better future,” added Dr Precious.
