Apostle Johnson Suleman urges kindness over vengeance at OFM’s Mercy Night, teaching that goodness can overcome evil and witchcraft

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a world often shadowed by cruelty, Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, has reminded believers that kindness is the most powerful weapon against evil.

Speaking during the ministry’s Cross-Over service on 31st December 2024, themed Mercy Night, Apostle Suleman delivered a profound message encouraging forgiveness and benevolence.

Joined by his wife, Reverend Lizzy Suleman, the Restoration Apostle urged the congregation to reject vengeance and embrace love, quoting Romans 12:19–21: “Vengeance is mine, I will repay. If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Apostle Suleman emphasised that while human instinct often drives us to retaliate, God’s teachings direct us toward compassion. “Not only should you refuse to take revenge, but you should intentionally do good to those you consider your enemies,” he explained.

He added that acts of kindness have the transformative power to confuse and frustrate adversaries, potentially leading them to seek God.

The Restoration Apostle highlighted that kindness is also a spiritual weapon against witchcraft and hate.

He stated, “If you want to see witchcraft being rubbished in your life, engage in kindness. To recover means regaining possession, a comeback, or renewal.”

Suleman encouraged believers to ensure that hate and revenge do not define their lives.
