Ogun AMORAN Chairman Taofeek Sokoya faces backlash after a yacht party video raises questions about union funds and leadership ethics

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] viral video showing Taofeek Sokoya, popularly known as ‘Danku,’ the Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), has sparked widespread outrage.

Sokoya and his associates were seen partying with strippers aboard a private yacht in Lagos, raising questions about the alleged misuse of union funds.

The video emerged amid accusations that Sokoya collected ₦700 million from union members under questionable circumstances.

Critics have also alleged that Sokoya betrayed the union by aligning with Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, whom they describe as underperforming.

Union members, many of whom struggle daily to make ends meet, have expressed anger and disappointment.

The Ogun State government and relevant stakeholders have also been urged to investigate the claims, ensuring that union members’ contributions are used responsibly and for their intended purposes.
