[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Guild of Interfaith Media Practitioners (GIMP) has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued on Sunday, GIMP Vice Chairman, Muyiwa Akintunde, conveyed the guild’s best wishes to Muslims, emphasising the importance of prayers for peace, progress, and shared prosperity.
“May the spirit of Eid al-Fitr—a spirit of peace, compassion, and unity—illuminate our path and inspire a society where truth and justice flourish.” – Muyiwa Akintunde
He encouraged the faithful to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and continue to uphold the values of faith, compassion, and national unity.
“As we celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters, may this Eid usher in a new season of joy and prosperity for Nigeria and Nigerians, strengthening the bonds of unity in our society,” Akintunde prayed.
He also urged Muslims to embrace the virtues of love, unity, and exemplary conduct, ensuring that the spirit of Ramadan extends beyond the period of fasting.
Akintude further commended the commitment and devotion shown throughout the holy month, calling on the faithful to maintain these values in their daily lives.
