Gateway Front Foundation unveils loyalty ATM card to deliver palliatives and food security support across Ogun East communities

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a powerful step toward strengthening community development and humanitarian impact, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), in partnership with Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), on Tuesday launched the 2025–2030 Food Security & Humanitarian Funding Initiative.

The rollout took place in Ijebu North East Local Government Area, marking a significant milestone in the foundation’s longstanding mission of service.

The initiative is a strategic response to economic hardship and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Designed as a five-year, scalable program, the initiative aims to deliver consistent and transparent palliatives to vulnerable groups across Ogun East Senatorial District.

The centrepiece of this rollout is the GFF Loyalty ATM Card, an innovative solution for disbursing funds and support directly to verified mothers, children, widows, and low-income earners.

Fully integrated into Nigeria’s banking system, the GFF Loyalty Card enables users to access funds for basic needs such as food and healthcare.

It is currently being piloted in four local government areas and will eventually cover all nine within the senatorial district.

Since its establishment in February 2000, the GFF has led various programs targeting healthcare, education, capacity building, and economic empowerment.

The loyalty card embodies the foundation’s core philosophy of “Being Your Neighbour’s Keeper,” the same value that has long guided the Gateway Movement.

At the launch, Senator Gbenga Daniel, who represents Ogun East in the National Assembly, reaffirmed his dedication to equitable welfare access and grassroots empowerment.

“This initiative is about building structured compassion using modern tools,” he said.

“Technology, accountability, and trusted partnerships will ensure that every eligible citizen gets the help they deserve.”

To manage the process efficiently, GFF has partnered with a commercial bank and tech consultants to automate backend operations. Registered Gateway Movement Representatives across wards and local councils are also assisting with registration and card activation.

The 2025–2030 agenda builds on GFF’s ongoing projects including eye care and surgeries, vocational training, and scholarship aid for school children.

As this next chapter unfolds, GFF invites more Nigerians and stakeholders to join hands in fostering a future defined by inclusion, stability, and hope.
