Kevin De Bruyne joins Napoli on a free transfer after leaving Manchester City, signing a two-year deal with an option for a third season
[dropcap]K[/dropcap]evin De Bruyne Napoli move has been officially confirmed by the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis after the Belgium star joined as a free agent.

The former Manchester City playmaker was released at the end of the season, ending a ten-year spell in England filled with silverware and standout performances.
De Laurentiis, also a film producer, shared the news with a photo of himself shaking hands with the 33-year-old midfielder alongside the message “Welcome Kevin!” on social media.
Reports suggest De Bruyne has agreed to a two-year contract with Napoli, including an option to extend for a third.
The move reunites him with fellow Belgian Romelu Lukaku and adds depth alongside Scott McTominay, formerly of Manchester United.
De Bruyne arrives in Naples with a wealth of experience, having won six Premier League titles and a Champions League under Pep Guardiola at City.
Although his final two seasons in England were marred by hamstring injuries, Napoli believe they have acquired one of Europe’s finest midfielders.
His vision, passing range and leadership are expected to lift a squad preparing to defend their Serie A title.
Antonio Conte’s side claimed the Scudetto on the final day of the campaign, edging out Inter Milan.
Napoli did so without European distractions, unlike Inter who reached the Champions League final before suffering a 5-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
