Accompanied by his entourage, DG Adedoyin reviewed the club’s workbook, guided by the club’s United President, Rtn. Alexander Chukwu, and his board.
The session featured in-depth deliberations on the club’s planned activities, with the Governor offering constructive insights and official approvals.
“Rotary thrives on structure and impact,” DG Adedoyin said.
“I’m impressed with the depth of vision from RC Ikoyi Metro, particularly the balance between project execution and membership development. This is how sustainable Rotary service is built.”
The highpoint of the fellowship was the presentation of scholarships to 15 students from three public schools within the club’s adopted community—Government Senior College, Ireti Senior Grammar School, and Girls Senior Secondary Grammar School.
Each school received a ₦250,000 scholarship fund, with ₦50,000 awarded to each student to support their academic needs.
“We are driven by the belief that every child deserves access to quality education,” said Rtn. Chukwu.
“These scholarships reflect our commitment to empowering the next generation through Rotary.”
The event also witnessed the induction of five new members: Rtn. Funmi Owoyemi, Rtn. Mary Adams, Rtn. Huthman Oduntan, Rtn. Francis Ojetade, and Rtn. Abuosun Okusolubo; each a distinguished professional in their field.
